How do you describe BOY MOMENTS to people you meet who haven’t read it before?

I would describe it as, a “Boy” (me) who captures his ever changing “Moments.” Often gives insights into events and parties that people may not have the chance to go to. Also trying to give the dynamic and experience that no social page will offer.

When did you first start blogging and what made you first hit the keyboard?

It almost seems like a blur of the exact day I started because of the fact I started and stopped. I created BOY MOMENTS in 2009 and wasn’t probably until early 2010 that I really started to write more consistently. I always blogged, even at a young age in my primary school years. I’ve had several blogs during that age, some of them were a collaborative journal between friends (a time before Facebook and Myspace were popular, where social networking hadn’t really existed for such a young age group) and some were personal diaries recording experiences such as school camps, personal reflection, etc.

What made me initially start BOY MOMENTS was my interest in fashion and having the ability to put any content I liked on it. I was able to write my opinion, plus my hobby of taking photographs that I could put on my blog. It was like a scrap book for me. A record of moments that inspired me and that would change through time.

What is the thing you most enjoy about blogging?

The thing I most enjoy about blogging is the ability to create original content and share my interests to other people to read, accessible all over the world, through the power of the internet.

What is the coolest thing your blog has helped you do?

For me, it’s the people that I have met and opportunities that arise. Blogging has opened doors and allowed me to connect with people who have similar interests and many who are creative, which is inspiring!

What piece of advice would you give someone just starting out their very first blog?

I think, it’s important to write what you like and what interests you, because people love reading other peoples opinions. What you think is unimportant or uninteresting, others find intriguing.

Tell us about your pets, friends, hobbies, star sign, shoe size… whatever!

Fun facts: I have a dog, Shih Tzu x Bichon Frise. I use to play 4 musical instruments (Piano, Oboe, Pipe Organ, Flute) and composed classical and electro-acoustic music.

Do you have a particular favourite post that you think is BOY MOMENTS at its best?

It’s hard to pick one particular post, because I think it would be a collective of all the post that make up BOY MOMENTS at its best.
