Hi Nuffnangers! Firstly I’d like to give a thousand thanks to Nuffnang to be featured on the month of June. Anyways, I am James and I like helping people to Disassemble and clean their Laptops.
I’d like to apologize for the blurred face alright? I’d love to have some privacy.
I’m currently still a student and currently I am studying in Sydney. I have some common hobby and some really uncommon ones too! They are
1. Playing Pool/Snooker
2. Go-Kart Racing
3. Disassembling and Cleaning Laptops
4. Maintaining AhWee.com
Usually, billiards and go-kart racing requires me to spend lots of money. So as a student, I can barely afford a game of any of these every week. However, my goal in life is to build a Billiard Center and a Racetrack.
As you can see I am swiftly explain through hobby 1 and 2. This is because I’d like to concentrate more on hobby 3: Disassembling and cleaning laptops.

My first laptop disassembly – Dell Inspiron 6400
My laptop disassembly hobby started out when I am frustrated with my laptop’s awful performance months ago, it was not that awful when it was new. I knew it was the dust that is causing the awfulness because the laptop got hotter even when idling. Despite having no experiences on disassembling laptops, I determined to disassemble my laptop. I’d like you all to know that this hobby does not come out of inexperience, I have been disassembling and maintaining more than 50 desktops when I was in high school.
By the way, it was on 16th of December 2008 where I spent the entire day from 1PM to 10PM disassembling my laptop. It was my first time disassembling a laptop and I had no idea where to find information to disassemble my Dell Inspiron 6400. It was 9 hours of curiosity and challenge (and not to forget, fun), thankfully I did not break any components after those long hours of working.
After reassembling my Dell Inspiron 6400, the light bulb within me lit! I was wondering, since I can barely find any information about disassembling laptops, I can write an article on How to Disassemble Dell Inspiron 6400! It took me 5 hours to complete the guide. So yeah, I basically slept at 3AM in the morning.
That article gave my website a niche to focus on. I searched for volunteers to allow me to clean their laptop so I can write a guide on disassembling their particular model. Many ignored my offer but 10 days before my flight to Malaysia, 2 friends of mine agreed to let me clean their laptop. They sell Dell laptops so they have lots of laptops and contacts.

Me disassembling my friend’s Dell XPS m1530
My laptop disassembling skills have skyrocketed since then. 2 of my friends above suggested me to get Dell’s technician’s license and more than 5 other friends personally came and asked me to clean their laptop … mainly because I am more confident now to disassemble and clean laptops already, especially Dell laptops.
Before 17th of December my website was almost about mixed irrelevant stuff. Now, I’ve targeted a niche and will be posting more laptop disassembly guides as the time move on, thanks to my mates who trusts me. I would also like to thank Nuffnang for supporting me with their advertisements, I’m pretty sure my hosting fees can be covered by the advertisements provided by Nuffnang.
I’ve got to get back to writing my laptop disassembly guides, anybody wants their laptop cleaned? :D
Regards
James
