Big congratulations to Tim from terroirbyte.blogspot.com, who has won a Telstra $1,099 HTC HD2 for his competition entry, “Being a beta better mum: The Facebook facelift she really needs”. The competition was all about sharing a story with your mum and the internet, and Tim’s entry was a humourous discussion of when your mother and your Facebook social group hilariously collide:

While I’m begrudgingly glad she’s found a tool that allows her to stay connected to her children (we’re all in different cities at the moment) – my mum is aggressively embarrassing on Facebook. The growth of her Facebook usage is inversely proportional to my dignity online…
